Visiting Archaeological Museum of A. Baitursynov Kostanay state university

On 13 December 2017, students of the 1 year visited Archaeological Museum of A. Baitursynov Kostanay state university which operates under the laboratory of archaeological sciences of the university.

The students were introduced to exhibits of archaeological artifacts of Kostanay region related to different eras of human history – from the Mesolithic to the middle ages.

A special interest was focused on Indo-Aryan’s artifacts , on their funeral ceremony. They were also interested in «Bestamak» exhibition. The iron age is represented by items Sarmatian warrior: sword, short sword and dagger, as well as stirrups and arrowheads. The warrior is buried not one, but with a young girl in our area that became food for thought for our students.
