The teachers of special disciplines N.V. Bozyan and A.O. Larkova held a master class “Health is in your hands” on October 18, 2019 as part of the subject decade of CMC No. 1.  

The teachers and staff of the college became participants in the master class. They do not have theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of measuring blood pressure and blood glucose.  

The following issues were revealed: the history of tonometry, the concepts of "Blood pressure", "Glucometer"; “Type of Tonometer” during the master class.  

The technique for measuring blood pressure using various types of blood pressure monitors and the technique for measuring blood glucose were demonstrated in the practical part of the master class. 

After that, all participants in the master class were able to put the acquired knowledge into practice. They measured each other's blood pressure and took an active part in measuring blood glucose.  

Certificates, a diary of daily blood pressure measurement, a brochure on the rules for measuring blood pressure were presented to all participants at the end of the master class. 

The teachers and staff of the college thanked the organizers of the master class for the knowledge and skills.
