"In the Flame of Afghanistan"

"In the Flame of Afghanistan"

A lesson in the history of "In the Flame of Afghanistan", dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, was held in the reading room of the KHMC on February 14, 2020. The chronicle of the Afghan war was demonstrated to students. February 15 is the Day of Remembrance of the Fallen Internationalist Warriors.

The librarian spoke about the events of the 80s of the twentieth century using the presentation "Afghanistan: our memory and pain." The heart is contracting as we pronounce the word "Afghanistan." There, the young generation was tested for safety margins, for readiness for achievement. Particular attention in the lesson was given to medical personnel who performed operations to save every soldier. Information about the graduates of the medical school was provided by the organizers of the lesson. They worked around the clock in a military situation under the most difficult wartime conditions, saving lives. The video: "Afghanistan. Military doctors" was shown to students.

The event ended with a review of the book exhibition - the memory of "Performing International Duty." At the end of the event, students asked questions and studied materials from the book and magazine exhibition.
